Welcome to NO*Glassrosens Ragdoll

Host families

In order to be able to improve, and develop, our breeding program, we need to use more cats than we can keep in our home.  At the moment we have no need for host families, but if you are interested we might need one or two after the summer 2012.

To be a host family, means that you will have a breeding cat from us, without paying anything for the cat.  If it is female, she will have two or three litters, within a period of maximum three years.  The litters will grow up in the home of the host family.  All expences related to pregnancy, and the litters will be paid by us, and the cat will be our property until the deal is fulfilled.  The host family pays all daily expences - like food and vaccination, and insurance.  The hostfamily will also pay for the neutering, before the papers for the ownership are transferred to them.

When we need host families for a male - it is important that the host family have a room for mating.  We will from time to time bring a female for mating.  Sometimes a fertile male will mark inside, especially if there are fertile females living there too.  You must be prepared for the fact that most males mark in our house when they are fertile.  Fertile males are often very noisy when they are calling for the girls, and when you are considering beeing a fosterfamily for a male you need to be avare of that.

If you want to be a host family for one of our cats it is important that the cat is not allowed to go outside, and you can under no circumstances have other fertile cats in your house.

It is also important for us, to be able to bring our cats to cats shows.  From time to time we therefore will come and bring the cat to a show.  If you - as a host family want to be a part of this - you are welcome to participate in this.

We will make a written contracts with the host family.
