Februar 13, 2012 - NO*Glassrosens Precious Kiara and NO*Glassrosens Te Amo are both back in the cattery.

February 4, 2012 - NO*Glassrosens Adorable Nala is now retired from breeding.  She has moved to her brother from the Disney Litter - NO*Glassrosens Rocky Bagheera.  Nala will be neutered in a few weeks, and will spend her life as a beloved pet - with Rocky,  together with Hege and her family:))  NO*Glassrosens Te Amo - RAG g 03 - will return to the cattery and will live with us - more information see: Queens:))  NO*Glassrosens Precious Kiara - RAG f 04 21-  mother of the Bird litter will also return to the cattery.

January 30, 2012 -  Our beautiful NO*Glassrosens Dream of Grace Kelly got a pyometra infection in accordance to her first heat.  Veterinarian thought it would be best for her to be neutered, and she therefore had this surgery today.  She will continue to live her life as a beloved pet with her fostermother Eirin.  This is a great loss for the cattery, but concern for Dream was the most important thing.

January 22, 2012 - NO*Glassrosens Amarous Adiago - born October 1, 2011 - now have a reservation and will leave in the middle of February:)

Januar 19, 2012 - This weeks I have been to Munich in Germany, and picked up our new breeding girl.  Her name is Angelina Jolie an high mitted seal bicolour RAG n 03.  She is from Diamonsriver cattery and her breeder is Corinna Geissler.  Thank you very, very much Corinna for this absolutely stunning beautiful girl:)  Her pedigree is not yet updated at Pawpeds, her parents are missing in the base.  Pedigree

Humphrey now seems to be 100 % recovered from his illness.  According to our veterinarian there is nothing hereditary in his illlness and it can happend to anyone...  This means also that Humphrey - of course and hopefully - will have some more litters in our cattery before he is retired:) 

In the middle of January 2012, we will bring a beautiful little girl home to Norway:))  We are so looking forward to it:)

November 7, 2011 - Our beautiful boy, IC DK KittyRags Humphrey, have had a big surgery this week.  On Monday morning I suddenly saw that something was not right with his eyes, and first I thought it was an eyeinflammation.  I took a closer look and realized that he was yellow on his nose and in his mouth.  His skin had red stripes in the face and he looked  terrible.  I took him to the vet at once, and they kept him to do ultrasound and x-rays.  It turned out that he had an enlarged gall bladder and severe damage to the liver.

I was asked to take him to a veterinarian clinic and Oslo.  At the clinic they told us that they would give him a surgery to determine what was wrong - and if possible try to do something about it.  It turned out that the the outlet from the gall bladder had been closed,a nd it was impossible to open it again.  The surgeon then made a new opening and moved it to another place on the small intestine.  In addition to the problem with the gall bladder, Humphrey has an inframmation of the pancreas and right now this is the biggest problem - since this is a very serious condition on its own....  BUT - today I have brought him to the first control since I picked him up on Saturday - and the liver is healing.  The gall bladder seems fine, and we will come back in 10 days to take new blood samples to check out the inflammation.   It seems there now is a good possibility that he will heal and get well again, mainly becauce we came with him at once - even before he felt sick.

November 5, 2011 - We have been to Norak catshow today.  At the show we had 3 offspring from Humphrey:))  NO*Glassrosens Mellom Fellow - just turned one year got EX1 and his first CAP- he was called for nomination but lost to a NFO.   He was judged by Lene Glem - and she gave him super responds.  Especially his very, very good fur quality and the beautiful profile and shape of his hear.  NO*Glassrosens Butter Fly was judged by Donatella M.  She also got super judgements - fur, profile and head was almost perfect - only thing she was complaining about was how her eyes showed that she was not too pleased to be there.  Not so strange as this was her very first show.  She got EX1 and was called for nomination, but lost to at NFO.  NO*Glassrosens Dream of Grace Kelly also got EX1 by Eivor Anderson.  She was not called for nomination because the judge was not to satisfied with her colour.  She loved her head, fur and profile.  

October 23, 2011 - NO*Glassrosens Ulrik Beetle attended Burak Catshow today in class 11.  He did get EX1, BIV-total and was NOM to Best in Show.  Congratulations to his owner Idun Lio and Ulrik:)

October 1, 2011 - (N)Amasing Star's Duchess Deanna gave birth to five kittens today.  Father of the litter is DGC DK KittyRags Tartuffe.  There are 3 girls and 2 boys - the girls are bicolours, 2 seal and one blue and the boys are mitted - one blue and one seal.  More information under Music Litter:)

September 13, 2011 - Tony Hawk has now left for his new home:))

September 11, 2011 - There are two boys and four girls in the litter born on September 6, 2011.  One of the boys seems to be a big blue mitted and one is a seal colourpoint.  We have one big seal mitted girl and 2 blue mitted girls, we also have one blue colourpoint girl:))  Now we are looking forward to see them open their eyes, and see if any of them have inherited Tartuffes fantastic blue eyes:)

August 18, 2011 - NO*Glassrosens Precious Kiara - rag f 04 21 - born May 21, 2010- are living here with us right now.  She has been in a fosterhome for some months and are not getting along to well with the other girls in the cattery.  We have therefore decided that we will find a new home for her.  Kiara is an active cat and we think it would have been nice for her to live in a place where she could be able to go outside in a safe environment.  Get in touch if you think you can offer her a nice forever home:))

August 18, 2011 - Marco Polo has now left our cattery and are now living with Merethe Førde and her family in Tromsø.  

August 15, 2011 -  I have been in Trondheim, and picking up Te Amo - now 10 months old.    

July 14, 2011 - I have today been picking up the new breeding male for the catteries; (N)Amasing Stars in Tromsø - breeder Merethe Førde, and NO*Glassrosens in Fredrikstad.  The new boy is now 12 weeks old and since his travel have been very long, and Merethe is going on a holday now, he will stay with us in Frdrikstad for a few weeks.  Later - in the autumn - he will go and live with Merethe and her family in Tromsø.  More information about Marco Polo will be found under "Kings":))

NO*Glassrosens Bumble Bee - rag a 03 - True Bicolour, will stay in our cattery.  She is a wonderful cuddly little girl with a wonderful temper - just the kind of personality we want to work with in our breeding program.  She is very well typed, has a wonderful fur, and a very nice head and profile.  Her eyes are big and beautiful, and her expression is very, very sweet.  Unfortunately she has a tiny spot on her nose and will probably never be a good showgirl.

April 17, 2011 - NO*Glassrosens Te Amo - Bluetortie bicolour - rag g 03 - attended Trønderkattens Cat Show in Trondheim today.  Te Amo has just been six months old and was shown to Karl Preiss.  She got Excellent 1, NOM and 1 vote in Panel.  Voting judge in Panel was CFA judge Wayne Treverthan from USA.  Congratulations to Te Amo's owner Valentina:))

February 20, 2011 we was at our first TICA show.  To the show we brought our young male, Tartuffe.  Tartuffe managed to get the title Double Grand Champion in TICA at his very first show.  The judges all were very impressed with his massive big body at such a young age - not yet nine months old.  He was no. 1 in one of the finals, nr. 2 in four of the finals, and no. 4 in the 6th final. 

January 29, 2011 our breeding male DK Kittyrags Humphrey attended Nerike Catclubs show in Sweden.  He took his third cacib and the title International Champion.  He also was total Best in Varity - BIV - Total - A total of 12 cats:))  He also became Hannah Jensens second best grown up male - number two in nomination.  Hannah Jensen gave him wonderful feedback and was very pleased with the way he did fit into the ragdoll standard:))

We will most probably also need host families for one, or two more kittens in 2011 and 2012.
